Kroger Deals, 4/21-4/27

I'm participating in the Monday Grocery Gathering over at BeCentsAble. If you're looking for breakdowns on weekly deals at stores around the country, click here and check for your store.

As always, I'm covering Kroger in the greater Cincinnati area. Our sales start on Monday; you may find many of these deals match up to your local Kroger. I do advise you to check Kroger's online weekly ad for your zip code.

Also, my Kroger doubles coupons up to $1.00; the final price I list reflects doubling.

That's the best I see at Kroger this week; if I missed a deal, drop me a comment or an email and let me know so I can revise this post.

On a personal note, it's looking to be an uber-busy week for me:lunch duty, Girl Scouts, various sports, the usual day-to-day mommying and canine wrangling, along with bloggity biz of all sorts.

So I'm ever so thankful that my blogging buddy Kyle over at Rather Be Shopping is guest posting on Tuesday! If you haven't checked out his monster online coupon code site, go here now. Right now! Oh no...don't tell me you've gone shopping online recently and didn't look for a coupon code - I'll swoon into a heap of frugal-fizz!

Seriously, Kyle's site is a great resource if you're a busy mom who online shops to save time, gas money, and most of all, the stress of dragging your darlings from store to store. Online shopping makes so much sense for all those reasons; why not save some extra $$ by using a coupon code to get a sweeter deal?

I'll post a Q&A interview I did with Kyle here tomorrow (4/21). He's a great guy and a true member of the Frugal Faithful.

Until then, Happy Savings!

Hi Marianne,

Just wanted to share I have a shortcuts Kroger e-coupon for Nature Valley too so this will be an even better deal. Might want to go get it or at least sign up if you don't use shortcuts. Good for stacking.

Thank you for the very nice intro Marianne! I hope my posts and coupons can save the frugal faithful some money!

Also, send me a picture of you in a frugal-fizz, I gotta see that! :-)

You can print $.50/1 Cheerios and $.50/1 Fiber One Chewy Bars at http://www.eatbetteramerica.com/Coupons/

I don't think there's a limit either. The site has let me print 8 copies of each coupon so far, and they all have different numbers on them.

what about the .99 for cottonelle toilet paper? and there was a printable out there that would make it almost free if it doubled...

My Kroger won't accept computer printed coupons.

Thanks for all the great links and hints, everyone.

To Nancy, and to everyone out there who may have been told "no" to using printables, my advice is this:

Kroger's online site offers coupons that load to your Shoppers Card through ShortCuts and P&G Brandsaver.

BUT, they also have a link to printables through Coupons.com.

If you go to Kroger's site, click the "In Store" tab, then click "Coupons" you'll see all three of the above on the "Coupons" page.

So, my thinking on this issue - one I've seen across the blogosphere - is this: the Kroger store/store manager who is saying "no" to printable coupons may not even be aware that Kroger's online site links to and encourages their customers to use printables.

If you're brave enough to tackle educating your store manager about this discrepancy, you might help yourself and other shoppers who've had their printables turned down.

Go prepared (look at the Kroger site and make some notes to share with the manager), and go with a smile and with the idea of educating/enlightening, not demanding.

If you're still turned down cold, then you could approach the district manager or even corporate and point out this obvious discrepancy and also how you tried to remedy it at the store/store manager level. Again, go with grace and a smile.

Bottom line: Kroger's online site offers and encourages their customers to use printables. Each store should honor them.

Yes, the Cottonelle is still 4pk for .99! Good save! :-)

Thanks so much for catching that missed deal; I think I missed it because it's run for the last two/three weeks.

There are some .25 coupons in the inserts for Cottonelle. I haven't seen the printable; if anyone has the link, please post it.

Thanks again!
