Let's Go Krogering! Week of March 9, 2009

This feature is posted every Tuesday by 5:00 AM EST with a Mr. Linky at the bottom if you'd like to add your link to your own post about what deals you found at your local Kroger or Kroger-affiliated store. Please click here to read the rules; the html code for the 149x149 button is in my sidebar.

Feel free to link up to this all week and share the good deals you find at your local Kroger or Kroger-affiliated store! As always, please add a link back to me in your Krogering post. Not sure how to do this? Just email me and I'll walk you through it!

Click here for a printable file of this week's (03/09-03/15) Kroger ad matchups with current coupons (Cincy Region).

Thanks again to all the deal-savvy bloggers who linked up last week; your deals were great!

I do hope that you take the time to visit the bloggers who link their Krogering posts this week if you haven't visited them before; there are some Kroger-lovin' smarty pants shoppers who link up every week and they often find deals in-store that I miss because they're not necessarily advertised in the weekly ad. Drop by their blogs and say hi, m'kay?

Here's what I bought this week.

My Krogering Trip, Monday, March 9, 2009:

Spent: $63.24
Saved: $71.60, or 53%

If you're a regular reader, you might be looking at that picture and wondering where-oh-where is all the milk that my kids gulp down each week? I didn't buy my milk at Kroger this week *gasp!* and I most assuredly did not buy it at Wal-Mart. I have a new and fabulous shopping spot I visited for the first time Monday night; I'll share details in my Weekly Savings Roundup post on Saturday.

The 10 Item Mega Event runs through 03/22 and does include all the freezer items from last week's "little" Mega Event; I'll update my Kroger Ad Matchup later with the additional items and coupon matches.

Here's the breakdown on Q's used:

:: V8 Splash juice, $2.50

$1.00/1, Campbell's Label's for Education distributed at school this past year

:: Activia Light 4pk, $2.50

Used (4) $1.00/1, RP 01/18 (*moneymaker*)

$0.50/1, SS 03/08

{Please note: my Kroger doubles coupons to a final value of $1.00 maximum.}

I also had a couple of small errors on my receipt (produce that was rung up with the wrong code) so I headed over to customer service and they refunded me the full amount as per their policy. It pays to check your receipt every.single.time!

Remember, you can click here for my printer-friendly GoogleDoc of this week's Kroger Ad/Coupon Matchups (Cincy Region). Please let me know by a comment if I missed any good deals; I'll revise the list asap!

I *heart* going Krogering! I hope you'll share how much you saved when you went Krogering this week! Leave your link below and be sure to come back next Tuesday, 03/17/07 {St. Patrick's Day!}, to see what I find next week and to link up your own Kroger or Kroger-affiliated store deals!

**As always, please add a link back to my Let's Go Krogering! post in your Krogering post and be sure that you add your post's permalink to the Mr. Linky so everyone else can find your deals (rather than just linking back to your blog's homepage). Need help doing this? Email me and I'll walk you through it!**
