Give $5, Get $5 in Coupons: Kellogg's and Feeding America

Feeding America (formerly known as America's Second Harvest) works to stop hunger here in our own country. It's hard to imagine hunger happening in America, but it does and those most vulnerable are the children and the elderly.

September is Hunger Action Month; if you click here, you can pledge to give up something small for the month of September and donate the money you would have spent instead to fight hunger. Yeah, I know, we're halfway through September but this is still a great cause worth the shout out. Hunger hurts.

If giving a large amount of money isn't within your means right now, you can participate in a smaller way. Thanks to Kellogg's (I do love my Frosted Mini Wheats!), you can click here to donate $5.00 and you'll get $5.00 in printable Kellogg's cereal coupons while supplies last. I received mine last night.

Give a little, get a little, help a lot - sounds like a win-win to me.

I'm linking this post up to A Time to Give at Saving and Giving.

Has couponing and embracing a more frugal lifestyle given you the means to help others in your community? Post the ways you're sharing and caring and then drop your link at A Time to Give. Thanks for starting this weekly linkup, Jennifer!
