Love Your Bread Machine? Get Printable Fleishmann's Yeast Coupons!

I {heart} my bread machine; I used some Amazon gift cards we received about six years ago to buy mine and I have used it to make so many great goodies (bread, pretzels, cinnamon rolls) that I wouldn't have had time to make by hand.

If you love your bread machine, or if you love yeast baking by hand, be sure to sign up here for the Knead to Know e-newsletter from Fleischmann's Yeast. It arrives the first of the month with all sorts of great recipes and hints and with printable coupons for Fleischmann's Yeast! Woot!

Happy baking!

Thanks for reading and subscribing to The New Frugal Mom!

Even with coupons, it is WAY cheaper to buy yeast at a wholesale club.

Anon: I absolutley agree; however, some people aren't near a wholesale club to get those savings.

Kroger often puts 3 pks of Fleischmann's Yeast on sale for $1.00 or $1.50 so these coupons can be very useful.

Marianne - There is a catalina deal going on right now (9/7 - 11/29):

* Buy any yeast strip & Get 50ยข OYNO
* Buy any yeast jar & Get $1 OYNO

It's not a windfall, but every little bit helps.

I agree about the wholesale club yeast, but even with all my baking, my yeast loses its "perk" before I use it all, and I keep it in the freezer. Is there a better way to keep it from "dying"? Thanks!

Anon: I've noticed that, too, when I have jarred yeast. By the bottom of the jar, it does seem to lose a bit of "oomph".

I keep my yeast in the refrigerator; I don't know if there's a better way to preserve it.

Anyone have any tips? Chime in! ;-)

Its depends on the brand. I haven't had trouble with Red Star loosing its kick. But even with coupons the whole sale club is cheaper.( Sam's) :)
