Menu Plan Monday | Week of February 21-27, 2011 {or, Why Yes, I Have Been Flying By the Seat of My Pants!}

I plan my family's dinners in five week blocks to maximize my savings at the grocery store and minimize my stress at dinner time. You can read more about my strategy here in my Q&A post here.

I started out February with a menu plan for the month; a scribbled and not-so-neat menu plan but a menu plan nonetheless!

February of 2011 has had me scrambling, however; we've had several changes to our family's weekly schedule and I've been juggling some additional responsibilities as well.

The net result: while I've used my menu plan for the month, I've also been switching things up week by week as our schedule (and my time) necessitates. My menu plan has served as a good reference for me this month even though I haven't followed it to the letter.

Here's what I've got planned for our dinners this week:
